I've had 2 kids go through Sun Prairie East High School and they've both had an overall positive experience. Most of the teachers are communicative, supportive and care. I feel our kids in general are safe and supported. It's tough to be an educator these days and I sincerely appreciate what our teachers do for our kids, daily. I would like to see more accountability for kids to complete homework, maybe more weight given to consistent work. This helps to set kids up for success in college, in work, in life after.

We moved from a much larger school community and I admit I was a little nervous about academics when moving to this much smaller school district but my kids have excelled here. I love the smaller class sizes and how all the support staff and teachers know my kids' names and personalities here. They are reading at grade level or above and same with their math skills. Their stress levels are much lower here than in the big schools as well.

This school is absolutely horrible and does not make my student smarter at all. In fact, my child has gotten less intelligent. Every staff member at this school does not care about the students and are always on their phone. They also discriminate against his culture, race, and gender. I am extremely disappointed with this school and is not even sure why this school still runs. Another example is when my child got sick for 2 days, they called me and said my child was chronically absent. They said that even 2 days in a school counts as chronically absent. I realized that this is just because they won't get paid for the student being absent for 2 days. All in all, I wished I had never sent my child to this broke, discriminating, unorganized school. Other parents have also had this same issue so it is not just me.

My experience with Smith Middle School, now Smith Intermediate, has been a good one over the years. Many great student leaders got their start at this school. The teachers genuinely care for their students and plan fun interactive lessons to spur the best possible learning opportunities. I have had one child go through this school, and she loved her teachers. We have a reputation for a great fine arts program. Our principals are creative and inspiring. Love Smith!

Notre Dame de Sion Grade School is an incredible place to work. The teachers and staff are talented and committed to giving 110% to their students and curriculum to ensure that our students thrive. People work here for a greater purpose than themselves - and their enthusiasm shows. Our students are kind, hard-working and continue to excel academically as shown by our high national test results. I also love that our school is rooted in Catholic faith, and that the underlying themes of faith, justice and love are incorporated into both the curriculum and the culture. Sion is both a loving and diverse school community with students of many different backgrounds.

Horrible experience under the new principal. If you are fond of the NKVD in Russia, you will love this environment of spying and reporting on your fellow students which results in epic levels of rumor mongering. Extremely destressing leaning environment for our child.

This school has a fun time outside because there is a school forest but the food made kids throw up and I have had hair and expired milk before . I recommend it if you like the outdoors because it is an okay school but not everyday is the best day. sometimes the classes can be boring. in some classes the work is confusing but we also have some smart kids in the school. The 6th grade math teacher is really nice as well as the principle, stop and think teacher and social studies teacher those are some of the good ones.

Tempe Preparatory Academy (TPA) offers students a well-rounded academic and extra-curricular education and experience for any student. TPA’s focus on Math, Science, Reading/Writing, Foreign Language, the Arts and overall Independent Thinking will provide students with the education they need for college and life. For example, a TPA graduate who attended ASU expressed how surprised he was to find that many of his college student peers lacked the ability to organize compelling ideas and arguments. From this college experience, he commented that TPA requiring seniors to prepare and then defend a major thesis better prepared him for college compared to most other high schools. In summary, TPA combines a close-knit supportive community, small class sizes, talented and passionate teachers, and plenty of extra-curricular activities ranging from debate to robotics and numerous competitive sports. Look no further for a high-quality and safe high school experience for all students.

Goodnight feels like a second home with a focus on inclusivity. Teachers, Students and Administration are all fully engaged and focused on improvement. The Goodnight population faces a lot of social challenges that the staff understands and helps students to navigate. Academics are always the focus, but they also have a vibrant athletic and arts culture. I feel that the entire staff is looking out for the kids and they try to identify students and situations that need additional resources to cultivate a safe community.

I’m a disabled senior at Tuscarora currently and have been having a lot of issues. With my disabilities I can barely access school and have been discriminated against for the last 4 years. They refused to give me an emergency evacuation plan for me since I am semi-wheelchair bound and cannot use the stairs to leave the building until we got the fire chief involved. I’ve been told that I should move to HHT (home hospitalized teaching) because they didn’t want to handle my issues. I’ve had a teacher quite literally take my wheelchair and tell me to stop faking being disabled. This school is friendly for able bodied people and people who don’t have mental issues, but for people like me who are physically and mentally disabled they treat us horribly. I would never recommend this school because there are far more issues than the ones I’ve listed.

Had 3 children go through Hanshew, last being four years ago. Fourth child started 7th grade this year and switched schools at winter break due to frequent fights, widespread vaping, bullying, threats of violence including bringing guns to school, and a poor learning environment where students are not challenged…rarely if ever given homework. Principal would not meet with us or others we know to discuss concerns. As a retired 20 year military Officer, I witnessed very poor leadership from the top.

Absolutely disgusting school. My son 6 was placed in 1st Grade as he's from the UK and they start school earlier and he was struggling with the adjustment from UK to US. We then asked for him to be placed in transition kindergarten class with his own age group to help him. This was refused and he was then placed in the younger kindergarten class. The emotional stress placed on my son is neither justified or warranted. Certain individuals clearly on a power trip and are not there for the childrens best interest. I'll be contacting a legal team for the emotional stress being placed on my son regarding this matter.

My experience with Rosholt School has been very positive. We have multiple children in the school, and one of our children has needed extra services. The school is very proactive about getting services when a child is behind. If you are looking for a small-town school, please visit Rosholt Schools.
